John Parker Stewart is an internationally recognized and entertaining speaker, executive coach, leadership consultant, orals coach, and published author. His client list includes Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, BAE Systems, Boeing, all NASA centers, GE, Nestle Carnation, U.S. Air Force, State Farm Insurance, Xerox, Shell Oil of Malaysia, Citibank, Chevron, Silicon Valley firms, Toshiba, Hibernia Bank, CSL of Hong Kong,Telstra of Australia, and U.S. government agencies and universities.

After attending the University of Colorado, graduating from Brigham Young University and finishing his Masters thesis in London, John taught and worked on his doctorate in organizational behavior at Michigan State University. John completed additional doctoral work on executive performance under Peter Drucker at the Claremont Graduate School of Management.

John was corporate manager of leadership development for 86,000 employees at Lockheed Corporation where he designed and taught the Lockheed Executive Institutes for thirteen years. He started Stewart Systems, Inc in 1980 where he has specialized in helping organizations of all sizes deliver superior performance through team leadership and executive management.

As an organizational performance consultant, he has focused on teaching leadership and team management, executive development and culture alignment to Fortune 500 clients and government agencies.

John led several multi-million dollar change efforts for international corporations in successfully realigning their operations and manufacturing processes. He has also united diverse corporate cultures during multi-billion dollar mergers and consolidations, leading to significant gains in organizational performance and integrated cultures.

With over 30 years of research and consulting experience, John’s work has earned him many recognitions. John was awarded the American Society for Training and Development’s “National Trainer of theYear Award” for two consecutive years. He was the keynote speaker for NASA’s “Return to Flight” celebration banquet following the two-year reconstruction period from the Challenger shuttle disaster.

John redesigned and implemented leadership and team performance programs at Kennedy Space Center that reduced the cost of launching the shuttle by half – saving hundreds of millions of dollars a year. John has successfully coached corporate proposal teams enabling them to win multiyear contracts worth billions of dollars. He has coached thousands of senior executives from Fortune 500 companies in team leadership and strategic focus, as well as guided several multimillion dollar organizational change efforts. He consults with corporations on mergers and acquisitions to build successful common cultures. He speaks to thousands of professionals each year around the globe.

John lives with his wife, Debra, near Portland, Oregon.They have fours sons and nine grandchildren.
